He was born on April 2, 1938 at his family home in Wellsboro, PA, a son of the late Arnold and Lura (Eberenz) Rawson and was the loving husband of Janice M. (Watts) Rawson for 56 years.  He was a 1956 graduate of the Wellsboro Area High School and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Wellsboro, PA.  Allan was the ultimate handyman who loved his entire family.  He served in the USMC Reserves, the US Army and retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant.

Allan is survived by his wife: Jan Rawson, son: Bob (Lisa) Rawson of Salisbury, NC, daughter: Brenda McAnany of Williamsport, PA, five brothers, three sisters, four grandchildren: Jack McAnany, Jacob, Tyler and Payton Rawson.  He was predeceased by a sister.

A memorial service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran School, Wellsboro, PA.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.
