Ann L. (Haus) Krout, age 87, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Saturday, August 31, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on November 24, 1936 in Williamsport, PA, a daughter of the late Eugene H. and Helen C. (Horam) Haus and was married for 66 years to Larry D. Krout.  Ann was an RN working for the York Hospital until her retirement in 1995 and attended the United Methodist Church of Wellsboro, PA.  She is survived by her husband: Larry D. Krout of Wellsboro, PA, son: David (Lenora) Krout of Wellsboro, PA, daughter: Tanya Krout of Erie, PA, 3 grandchildren: Jeff Krout, Josh (Shawna) Krout, Julie Krout and 5 great grandchildren: Ava, Eva, Olivia, Larry and Maxwell.  Services will be private and are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.
