Barry L. Brooks, Jr., age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 23, 2023, in Snow Hill, Maryland. Born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Joyce Knapp Brooks and the late Barry L. Brooks, Sr. Barry was a good man – a loving son, brother, and father. He was generous to everyone and was always willing to help where help was needed. He loved his kids and his faithful companion, Cooper. He enjoyed spending time on his houseboat and going for rides in his Cobra Mustang. He was a hard worker and a proud business owner. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Jeremy Brooks (Karen Farrer), John Brooks (Maryam Rashid), and Joseph Brooks, two daughters, Hollea Segura (Shane), and Arleigh Brooks, two sisters, Brenda Guthrie (Mike), and Benita Brooks – Long, four grandchildren, Sophia Brooks, Hajra Rashid – Brooks, Caleb Brooks, and Adlai Rashid – Brooks, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Glenda Brooks Hammond officiating.   Interment will follow at Welsh Settlement Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA.
