David W. Roby, age 62, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Thursday, December 16, 2021.  He was born on May 5, 1959 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of the late Robert H. Roby and Vivian (Krause) Roby.  Dave worked at the family garage and LP gas business then he was an independent truck driver for many years and was recently employed by Delmar Township.  He was married to Debra S. (Merrbaugh) Brelsford-Roby and was a member of the Draper Baptist Church.  Dave enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, scuba diving and spending time with his family and friends.  He is survived by his mother: Vivian K. Roby of Wellsboro, PA, wife: Debra S. Brelsford-Roby of Wellsboro, PA, daughter: Madison Dean of Wellsboro, PA, stepson: Charles McNeal of Chambersburg, PA, stepdaughters: Shannon Shields and Patricia McNeal, both of Chambersburg, PA, sister: Sue Champaign of Wellsboro, PA, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by a son: David H. Roby and a sister: Sandra Roby.  A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 10 to 11 am at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.  A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Ronald W. Bly officiating.  Interment will be in the West Branch Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA.
