He was born in Philadelphia, PA a son of the late George H. Lare, Jr. and Anna Emily (Gildein) Lare. Frank was an Electrical Engineer Project Leader for all of his professional life. He was a scoutmaster for over 30 years and enjoyed the outdoors, animals and spending time with his family.
Frank is survived by his wife: MaryElizabeth Lare, two sons: Rob Lare of Allentown, PA, Joe Lare of Wellsboro, PA, brother: George H. Lare, III of Plymouth Meeting, PA and a grandson.
A private family service will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Frank's name to the Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries 725 Gee Rd., Tioga, PA 16946.
