Frank O. Pier, age 86, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Thursday, January 25, 2024.  He was born on May 18, 1937 in Wellsboro, PA a son of the late Oliver and Dorotha (Lloyd) Pier and was the husband of the late Alice (Arwin) Pier.  Frank was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wellsboro, Wellsboro Men's Chorus, he was a teacher for the Wellsboro Area School District for 29 years, an avid walker and enjoyed woodworking.  He is survived by a son: Jeffrey (Karen) Pier of Wellsboro, PA, daughter: Norine Pier of Palm Bay, FL, stepdaughter: Karen (Doug) Warden of NC, sister-in-law: Jean Pier of Wellsboro, PA, 2 grandsons: Scott (Heidi) Pier, Jesse (Christianne) May, and 4 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 10 to 11 am at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.  A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Ed Siddle officiating.  Interment will be in the Wellsboro Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA.
