Gerald J. Pierce, age 80, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Monday, January 17, 2022.  He was born on November 25, 1941 in Westover, PA, a son of the late Francis and Della (Judson) Pierce and was married for 55 years to Bonnie (Lewis) Pierce.  Gerald attended Mt. Zion Full Gospel Church, Wellsboro, PA, enjoyed watching the NY Yankees, was a singer / songwriter and a member of the Royal Ranger Outpost Council.  He retired from Ward Manufacturing, Blossburg, PA where he was known as "Hank" with over 35 years of service.  Gerald is survived by his wife: Bonnie Pierce of Wellsboro, PA, sons: G. Scott (Deborah Lockett) Pierce of Wellsboro, PA, Brent (Ryan Bates) Pierce of Covington, PA, daughter: Tonya (Tim) Wilkinson of Wellsboro, PA, sister: Marion Deutcher of Williamsport, PA, 10 grandchildren, a great grandson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by six brothers and six sisters.  A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 10 to 12 noon at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.  A funeral service will follow at noon with Pastor Ed Siddle officiating.  Interment will be in the Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, PA.
