Glenn E. Bowen, age 89, of Wellsboro, PA, died peacefully at home with his family at his side on Friday, February 25, 2022. He was born on April 3, 1932 in Wellsboro, PA a son of the late Clark D. and Mildred (Edwards) Bowen and was married for 66 years to the late Jeanne M. (Gilliland) Bowen. Glenn was a long time member of the PA Holstein Association and Holstein USA, the Charleston Union Grange, First Baptist Church of Wellsboro, PA and was a 4-H leader and a supporter of the Tioga County Fair. He graduated from the Charleston High School, Wellsboro, PA and loved hunting, fishing, Holstein cows, gardening, traveling and taking bus trips with his wife. Glenn is survived by a son: James (Michaline) Bowen of Wellsboro, PA, two daughters: Patricia Ann Miller of Willow, AK, Diane (Jack) Mosher of Wellsboro, PA, sister-in-law: Marlene Bowen of FL, grandchildren: Kelly Baker Algeo of CA, John Michael (Alice) Miller II of Wasilla, AK, Chantel (Paul) Musser of Wood, PA, Christopher (Laura) Mosher, Jr of Palmer AK, Travis B. Mosher of Wellsboro, PA, Mallory C (Darin) Earlington of Roanoke, VA, Mary A Mosher of Wellsboro, PA, Nicholas Bowen of Wellsboro, PA, Keriane (Chad) Chaborek of Wellsboro, PA, Wade E. Mosher of Waverly, NY, 13 great grandchildren and 2 nieces. He was predeceased by a daughter and son-in-law: Peggy and Owen Baker, brother: Neil Bowen and a great granddaughter: Natalie Grace Gibson. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tioga County Fair Dairy Barn.
