Henry L. Butler, age 68, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022.  He was born on September 7, 1953 in Wellsboro, PA a son of the late Carl J. and Marie I. (Hopkins) Butler.  Henry served in the US Navy and enjoyed hunting, camping, traveling and spending time outside.  He worked construction for most of his life and was married to Cathy L. (Fowler) Butler.  He is survived by his wife: Cathy Butler of Wellsboro, PA, daughter: Gina (Chris) Stauffer of OH, stepsons: Robert (Sherry) Anderegg , Jeffrey Anderegg, both of Wellsboro, PA, stepdaughter: Brianna (Joe) Huck of Wellsboro, PA, stepson: Bradley Townsend of WI, brothers: Bob Butler of CO, Rick (Arlene) Butler of Middlebury Center, PA, Brian (Cheryl) Dilly of Wellsboro, PA, Stan Dilly of Wellsboro, PA, sisters: Barb (Paul) Copp of Wellsboro, PA, Carla Butler of Pottstown, PA, 6 grandchildren, a great granddaughter and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by two sisters: Beverly Hackett and Pam Butler and a granddaughter: Brooke Baker.  Visitation will be on Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 1 to 3 pm at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.  A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Kristi A. Webster officiating.  Interment will be in the West Branch Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA.
