Herman E. Spong, age 89, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Monday, June 17, 2024.  He was born on August 3, 1934 in Jersey Shore, PA, a son of the late Lawrence and Jeannette (Campbell) Spong and was the husband of the late Ellamae (Henry) Spong who passed away in 2011.  Herman was retired from Dresser Manufacturing, Wellsboro, PA.  In keeping with Herman's wishes, there will not be any services.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.
