Dr. James M. Davis, age 77, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.  He was born on April 18, 1944 in Syracuse, NY a son of the late James and Helen (Bullock) Davis and was married for 54 years to Ruth Ann (Davenport) Davis.  He graduated summa cum laude from the National Chiropractic College, Chicago IL, served in the US Navy and owned his chiropractic business in Wellsboro for over 45 years.  Jim loved Civil War reenactments, music and working at his practice.  He is survived by his wife: Ruth A. Davis of Wellsboro, PA, son: Dustin (Dustina) Davis of OH, daughter: Maria (Mark) Polonia of Wellsboro, PA, a brother, a sister, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  A private family graveside service will be held at the Wellsboro Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA
