James "Jamie" S. Monks, Jr., age 49, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.  He was born on June 2, 1973 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of James S. Monks, Sr. and the late Kathleen E. (Maynard) Monks and was married on May 14, 2022 to SueAnne Carson.  James graduated from Wellsboro Area High School and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and was employed by Darrow's Motor Company, Wellsboro, PA.  He enjoyed photography, traveling, going for rides, watching wildlife, and spending time at his camp and loved all of his dogs.  He was a member of the Tioga County Amateur Radio Club "N3ZLJ", was the Chairman of the Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally and a Steward for the American Rally Association.  James is survived by his father: James Monks, Sr., wife: SueAnne Carson, special Niece: Kirsten Parsons, special Nephew: Chad Dodge all of Wellsboro, PA, eight aunts and uncles and several half siblings.  James was predeceased by his first wife: Karen (Day) Monks.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 4 to 7 pm at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletohfh.com Wellsboro, PA.  A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 11:00 am.
