John C. Kilburn, age 83, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.  He was born on July 16, 1942 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of the late Jonas and Lenora (Walbridge) Kilburn and was married for 63 years to Clara Ann (Lawton) Kilburn.  John was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wellsboro and enjoyed woodworking.  He was a dairy farmer, self-employed building and remodeling contractor and custodian for the First Baptist Church.  He is survived by his wife Clara Ann Kilburn of Wellsboro, PA, three sons: Karl (Melinda) Kilburn of Wellsboro, PA, Jonathan (Oksana) Kilburn of Frisco, TX, Christopher (Loni) Kilburn of State College, PA, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Wellsboro on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00 am with Pastor Christopher Osterbrock officiating.  Interment will be in the West Branch Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA.  Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Missions Fund for the Dominican Republic Trip, 25 Central Ave. Wellsboro, PA 16901.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.
