John Tom, age 80 of Wellsboro passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the Rose View Center in Williamsport. Born April 24, 1944 in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of the late Andrew and Theodora (Atherine) Tom. John was a disabled veteran from the US Navy. He retired from Partners in Progress and was a member of the Christ Church. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking and camping. John is survived by his wife, Eleanor; children, Barbara Johnston of Trinity, TX, Andrew Tom of Wellsboro and Nicole Popoleo of Bethel Park; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy and Stanley Tom. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Carleton Funeral Home, Inc.
