Larry A. Packer, age 85, of Middlebury Center, PA, died on Friday, January17, 2025.  He was born on October 28, 1939 in Dansville, NY, a son of the late Lawrence and Laura (Lawrence) Packer and was married to Marie (Glerum) Packer.  Larry was an electrician for most of his life and was a member of the Whitneyville United Methodist Church.  He was a member of the IBEW Local 86, Rochester, NY, F&AM lodge # 392, Sodus, NY and enjoyed hunting, square dancing, watching western movies and going to Florida in the winter.  Larry is survived by his wife: Marie Packer of Middlebury Center, PA, daughter: Lisa Hartson of Dansville, NY, stepdaughters: Diana (Ronnie) Reynolds, Sandra (John) Hopkins, both of Sodus, NY, brother: Lee Packer of Orlando, FL, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  A private family memorial service will be held at the Whitneyville United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Baker officiating.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.
