Makena Lyn Doane, age 25 of Wellsboro passed away unexpectedly along with her unborn daughter, Jensyn Mae Doane on Monday, July 29, 2024 at her home. Born March 21, 1999 in Wellsboro, she was the daughter of Terry L. Carleton and Tonya S. Fousnought-Carleton. She graduated in 2017 from PA Cyber School and was a bartender/waitress at the Wellsboro Moose Lodge. Most of all she took pride at being a stay-at-home mom to her two little boys. Kena loved the outdoors, kayaking, and riding on the Razor. She had a love for adventure and enjoyed a good ink therapy session. She loved her boys and her dogs. Kena had a fearless, carefree, wild spirit, who never had a plan….she would just figure it all out as she went. She had a beautiful smile, contagious laugh and was the light to everyone. She never portrayed or talked of her struggles and was always helping and putting everyone else first. She gave so much love to others, but didn't save enough for herself.
