Martin C. Burton, Sr., age 84, of Galeton, PA, died on Saturday, December 18, 2021.  He was born on June 24, 1937 in Bryn Mawr, PA a son of the late Harold V. and Elizabeth (Costello) Burton.  He was a Korean War Veteran serving with the US Air Force.  He was married on October 11, 1958 in Souderton, PA to Dorothy J. "Dot" (Gronbach) Burton and had celebrated 63 years of marriage.  Martin was the former owner of the Waldheim in Germania and was a bartender at the Galeton Moose.  He enjoyed hunting, mowing lawn and spending time with his family and friends.  He was a member of the Galeton Moose, the Hershey American Legion, the Lewisville Lodge # 556 F&AM and a life member of the Germania Fire Department.  Martin is survived by his wife: Dorothy J. Burton of Galeton, PA, son: Richard Burton of Galeton, PA, daughter: Dawn (Jeff) Barto of Campbelltown, PA, brother: James Burton of NC, granddaughters: Kelsey (Austin) Nace and Kendall Burton and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by two sons: Robert W. Burton and Martin C. Burton, Jr, one brother and two sisters.  A time of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 4 to 6 pm at the Galeton Moose.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Germania Fire Department.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.
