Mary Lee (McClure) Trowbridge, age 88, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Thursday, May 1, 2025.  She was born on February 9, 1937 in Roseville, PA, a daughter of the late Lee and Eleanor (Mitchell) McClure and was married for 65 years to Robert Trowbridge.  Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wellsboro and a professor at Mansfield University for 30 years.  She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.  Mary is survived by her husband Bob, daughters: Connie Brant of Mansfield, PA, Bonnie Coxford of Wellsboro, PA, Lynnette (Randy) Burton of Mansfield, PA, brother: Marshal "Pete" (Marilyn) McClure of Mansfield, PA, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by three brothers: Lavere McClure, Richard McClure, Wendal McClure and a son-in-law: Chris Hoyt.  A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 10 to 11 am at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.  A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Christopher Osterbrock officiating.  Interment will be in the Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, PA.
