Mary A. Osgood, age 80 of Groton, NY passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Born May 17, 1946 in Wellsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles D. and Adeline (Stager) Osgood. Mary was a lawyer for many years and was active in her community serving on the Groton town board. She loved to be outdoors, gardening, hunting and raising beagles. She had a strong faith and was a true believer, reading and quoting the bible often. Mary is survived by her husband, Robert V. Case; sister, M. Annette Geneski; sister in law, Laura Osgood; nieces and nephews, Shane and Luke Mahosky, Autumn (Tyler) Morgan, Chad Osgood, John (Cassie) Osgood, Fawn Wolfe, Terri (Steve) Kascmar and Rhonda (Scott) Newton; 2 step children, several step grandchildren; special friend, Denyse Werts and many great nieces and great nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Charles (Sylvia) Osgood, her mother, Adeline Osgood and brothers, Robert Moore, Forrest Osgood and Michael Osgood.
