He was born Dec. 21, 1958 in Wellsboro, a son of Raymond E. Moyer and the late Patricia A. Emmick and was married to Lyn M. (Brill) Moyer. Mike served in the U.S. Army and was employed by Tioga County Community Services.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR and watching the Miami Dolphins.

He is survived by his father, Raymond Moyer of Florida; son, Reed Moyer of Wellsboro, daughter, Jennifer Leckey of Wellsboro; Heather Thomas of North Carolina; step-daughters, Savana Baltzley and Kallie Baltzley both of Wellsboro, sisters, Barbara (David) Noll of Jonestown, Bille Jo Emmick of Wellsboro, brother-in-law: Lewis (Jami) Brill of Wellsboro, sister-in-law: Jeanette (Mike) Mosso of Wellsboro, nine grandchildren, three nieces and six nephews.
