Nancy M. Coolidge, age 80, of Covington PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. She was born August 7, 1943 on Maple Hill , a daughter to the late Alfred H. and Roberta J. (Wood) Knapp. She was married to James L. Coolidge for 50 years before his passing in 2018. Nancy was a U.S. Navy veteran. She worked as a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service before raising her family, and retired in 2010 from Osram Sylvania . She had proudly worked as a pipe fitter.... one of the first females in the trade.  In between, and later in life, Nancy obtained her massage therapy license from Fingerlake School of Massage. Nancy went on to open two businesses, Touch of Wellness in Wellsboro, PA and Relaxing Hands, at her home. Nancy was an avid reader and was known as a natural healer. She enjoyed gardening, walking, going on casino trips, and animals - both her beloved pets ,and those in nature. She is survived by her son, Kevin Coolidge of Wellsboro; daughters, Rebecca Coolidge and Valerie Weirback, both of Troy, PA; grandchildren, Cory, Tyler, Jay, and L. James Coolidge; Brittanie, Grace, Sophia, Kaleb and Joshua Weirback; soon to be great-grandchild, Nova Marie; and siblings, Larry Knapp, Bill Knapp, Charlene Bieber, Shelby Beecher ,and Melanie Oliver; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both her parents; husband, James Coolidge; and son-in-law, Jeff Weirback. Per Nancy's wishes, no services are to be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. - Wellsboro, PA.
