He was born on August 13, 1948 in Allentown, PA, a son of the late Joseph W. Fisher and Mae (Rehrig) Nagle. Rick was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the Marine Corps and a member of the Jackson Center United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a brother: Mike Fisher of Reston, VA, sister: Cathy (Lee) Ashton of Jacksonville, FL, 2 nephews and a niece.
