Robert D. "Bob" Williams, age 79, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Monday, December 25, 2023.  He was born on July 6, 1944 in Dayton, OH, a son of the late Robert and Wanda (Mills) Williams and was married to Linda S. (Webber) Williams.  Bob was a self-employed Architectural Designer, owning Thornapple Design Company in Wellsboro, PA for over 40 years.  He was instrumental in starting the Dickens of a Christmas event in Wellsboro, was very involved with the Sports Car Vintage Racing Association as chief of Tech.  He enjoyed natured and loved riding motorcycle.  He and his wife ran a Motorcycle Touring Business for 2 years.   Bob is survived by his wife: Linda S. Williams of Wellsboro, PA, two sons: Vernon (Tona) Williams of Wellsboro, PA, Colton Williams of State College, PA, sister: Linda (Ron) VanSickle of Athens, GA, and four grandchildren: Sadie Williams, Maura Williams, both of State College, PA, Austin Williams, Bryanna Williams, both of Wellsboro, PA.  A private family memorial service will be held in the Spring.  Memorial contributions may be made to: The International Motor Racing Research Center, 610 S Decatur St, Watkins Glen NY 14891 or to Animal Care Sanctuary, 363 Sanctuary Hill, East Smithfield, PA 18817.
