Robert H. Roby, age 90, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Sunday, December 12, 2021.  He was born on May 4, 1931 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of the late Dana and Vivian (Knapp) Roby.  He was a Korean war veteran serving with the US Army and was married to Vivian (Krause) Roby.  He was the owner of Roby's Garage and LP Gas of Wellsboro, PA.  He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed sports, hunting, woodworking and building things.  He is survived by his wife: Vivian K. Roby of Wellsboro, PA, son: David (Debra) Roby of Wellsboro, PA, daughter: Susan Champaign of Wellsboro, PA, two sisters: June Ackley of Westfield, PA, Dianne Gee of Middlebury Center, PA, grandson: Douglas (Nichole) Champaign, great grandson: Levi Champaign and several step grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a daughter: Sandra Roby and a grandson: Davie Roby.  A private family viewing and funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.  Burial will be in the West Branch Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA.
