Robert D. Spong, age 66, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.  He was born on March 10, 1959 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of the late Herman E. and Ellamae (Henry) Spong.  Bob was formerly employed by Southworth's Upholstery, Wellsboro, PA and enjoyed watching old TV shows and spending time with his companion: Vicky Anderson and her granddaughter Naomi.  Bob is survived by his companion and her granddaughter: Vicky Anderson and Naomi, sons: Robert J Spong of Wellsboro, PA, Jeffrey Spong of NC, brother: Lawrence (Juvy) Spong of San Diego, CA.  Services will be private and are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.
