Sharon L. (Wetherbee) Patterson, age 83, of Wellsboro, PA died peacefully at home on Sunday, December 7, 2025.  She was born on July 31, 1942 in Corning, NY, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Ilene (Jones) Wetherbee and was the wife of the late James L. Patterson.  Sharon was formerly employed by Mergenthaler and was a member of the Wellsboro United Methodist Church.  She was a dedicated mother to her family and enjoyed cooking, canning, and spending time with her family, friends and grand dogs.  She also enjoyed cross stitching, reading, listening to music and family genealogy.  Sharon is survived by four sons: Tyler Patterson, Darren (Jackie) Patterson, Patrick Patterson, Jason (Audrey) Patterson, all of Wellsboro, PA, sister: Carole Wetherbee of Wellsboro, PA, grandchildren: James Patterson, Alexa Patterson and Jacob Patterson.  A private family funeral will be held at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA with Rev. Elizabeth Jackson officiating.  Interment will be in the Welsh Settlement Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Wellsboro United Methodist Church or to the Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries.
