Wesley H. Starkweather, age 92, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Saturday, July 31, 2021.  He was born on August 2, 1928 in Wellsboro, a son of the late Hugh and Martha (Luther) Starkweather.  He was married to the late Kathryn (Emmick) Starkweather and was a member of the Morris United Methodist Church, life member of the NRA, member of the Nessmuk Rod & Gun Club, Whispering Pines Cap & Flint Club, and the Loyal Order of Moose lodge 1147.  Wesley was a master mechanic for Jones and Brague Mining, Blossburg, PA and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, NASCAR, riding motorcycles and sharing historical stories with his family.    He is survived by a son: William "Bill" (Lisa) Starkweather of Mansfield, PA, daughter: Janette (Emery) Frome of Trout Run, PA, 7 grandchildren: David Graham, Darren Graham, Daniel Graham, Lucas Starkweather, Kellie Frome, Nichole Winter, Sonya Kitka, 10 great grandchildren: Wes Starkweather, Jake Starkweather, Samantha Frome, Anthony Alexander, Alyssa Frome, Katharine Winter, Daniel Winter, Jesse Kitka, Elijah Rook, Nicholas Kohler, 5 great great grandchildren: Elaina Frome, Sylvia Frome, Evalynn Pavin, Aiden Alexander, Adam Alexander, special friend: Patty Ellis and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by a daughter: Kathy McMullen, son Clifford Starkweather, two sisters: Alice Grunhagen and Suzie Hazelton and three brothers: Tom Starkweather, Alvin Starkweather and Donald Starkweather.  Interment will be in the Wellsboro Cemetery and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.
